Jerry Berggren, AIA

Jerry founded Berggren Architects in 1977. His expertise in historic preservation, building condition diagnostics, design, and documentation have allowed Berggren Architects to work on over 30 of Nebraska’s finest courthouses, the State of Wyoming’s Capitol, as well as several museums, libraries, and residences throughout Nebraska and the surrounding states.

Steve Severson, AIA

Steve Severson joined Berggren Architects in 2015 as an Architectural Intern while attending the University of Nebraska – Lincoln. He later completed his licensure in the state of Nebraska in 2019. As a Project Architect, Steve has worked on an extensive amount of county courthouse restorations including, York County Courthouse and Saline County Courthouse.

Janet Jeffries

Janet Jeffries joined Berggren Architects in 2006 as our Architectural and Preservation Historian. As a former educator, writer, and researcher in the field of historical and architectural preservation, her knowledge and expertise have made her an asset to our team. Janet has assisted on numerous projects including the Wayne County Courthouse.

Brandy Nguyen

Brandy Nguyen joined Berggren Architects in April of 2020. As an architectural intern, Brandy performs various secretarial duties, while assisting project architects with project organization and drawing review. His interests in sustainable design, urban planning, and museum design makes Brandy a perfect fit to our team.

Morgan Davis

Morgan Davis joined Berggren Architects in 2018. As an Architectural Intern, Morgan’s love for historic architecture has influenced her desire to understand the importance of a building’s life span. Her passion for creating environmentally sustainable designs has made her an asset to our team.

Jessica Fujan

Jessica Fujan joined Berggren Architects in 2019. As an architectural intern, Jessica has assisted project architects with several projects including, Nemaha County Courthouse, Jefferson County Courthouse, and the Cheyenne Fountain Restoration.
