Addition

Hurlburt-Yates House

In 2010, Berggren Architects was hired to oversee the fire and life safety improvements necessary to repurpose the historic Hurlbut-Yates House into Greek-life housing. The Eastlake house stands as an early work of architect Ferdinand Fiske. It was designed in the Eastlake Queen Anne style and completed in 1883. Our improvements included a new fire escape stair, new windows, and a new arrangement of interior spaces. The building currently houses Lincoln’s Beta Sigma Psi chapter.
