Wyoming State Capitol

Berggren Architects was retained by HDR Denver to be the historic preservation consultant for the restoration of the Wyoming State Capitol in Cheyenne. Currently, Mike Dixon is working full time from our Wyoming office, providing on-site expertise. In 1888, the original cost for the Capitol was $150,000. Additions to the building occurred in 1980 and 1917.

Berggren Architects was retained by HDR Denver to be the historic preservation consultant for the restoration of the Wyoming State Capitol in Cheyenne. Currently, Mike Dixon is working full time from our Wyoming office, providing on-site expertise with regard to historic artifacts, period design, and restoration techniques. The 110 million dollar restoration is scheduled for completion in the fall of 2019.
